Blackberry and apple hedgerow crumble bars
Part biscuit, part tart and part crumble, these hedgerow bars will be a firm favourite every autumn

Ingredients
For the base and crumble
- 100 g light brown sugar
 - 150 g salted butter, melted
 - 250 g plain flour
 - 1 tsp ground cinnamon
 - 30 g hazelnuts, roughly chopped
 
For the filling
- 225 g blackberries
 - 150 g apple, peeled, cored and diced
 - 100 g caster sugar
 - 1 tbsp cornflour
 - zest of 1 lemon and the juice of ½ lemon
