
Honey and mustard pork
These super-simple pork steaks are pan-fried with leek and onion and coated with a sweet and sticky mustard glaze. Delicious served alongside some fresh green vegetables, or even with a fluffy baked potato, they are super-hearty and comforting. They’re ready in no time at all, which makes them the perfect choice for a midweek meal.

Ingredients
- low-calorie cooking spray
- 1 onion, peeled and finely chopped
- 1 medium leek, trimmed, washed, halved lengthways and thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed
- 4 lean pork loin steaks, trimmed of all visible fat (about 100 g each after removing fat)
- ½ tsp dried thyme
- ½ tsp dried sage
- 4 tbsp clear honey
- 3 tbsp wholegrain mustard
- 1 tbsp Henderson’s relish or Worcestershire sauce
- ½ tsp balsamic vinegar
- 3 tbsp apple juice
- sea salt and black pepper, freshly ground (optional)
