Bonfire night maple bacon ‘baked’ beans

This makes a big batch, but it freezes really well and can be popped in the microwave to defrost and heat almost as quickly as taking a can of beans out of the pantry. Delicious piled into jacket potatoes and topped with cheese, or just serve on toast.
