Ingredients
- 4 chicken legs
- 750 g mixture of potatoes (any type) and carrots, peeled and cut into bite-size pieces (any type)
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- ½ lemon
- 50 g butter
- 4 eggs (any size), optional
- 2 tbsps tomato puree
- Salad and bread, to serve
Niter kibbeh blend
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp ginger, finely chopped
- 1 sprig each thyme and rosemary
Berbere
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 2 tsp curry powder
- ½ tsp chilli powder
- ½ tsp mixed spice
Potato spices
- ¾ tsp turmeric
- ½ green chilli, seeds removed, finely chopped
