- 50 g dried porcini mushrooms
- 50 g unsalted butter
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, finely grated
- 800 g mixed mushrooms, chopped into roughly 2 cm chunks
- 2 tbsps brandy
- 150 g full-fat cream cheese
- 1½ tsps tarragon, chopped
- sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 250 g self-raising flour
- 100 g cold butter, coarsely grated
- 100 ml whole milk
- 1 egg, beaten
